Keynote

Jenny is a professional chef and artist based in NYC. She specializes in fusing culinary arts with social concepts and emerging technology, especially AR/VR. She runs an experimental popup series named Wednesdays, is the Co-Host of Why Food? podcast on Heritage Radio Network and is starting a culinary production studio named Studio ATAO. Her work can be found in publications such as Harper's Bazaar, Business Insider, Thrillist and Bustle as well as on Food Network and Oxygen TV.

Opening Performance

Vie Boheme is an international multidisciplined artist born in Motown, developed in Pittsburgh and refined in Minneapolis. She is a current dance artist with Camille A. Brown & Dancers and a vocal artist for Stokley Williams, front man of Mint Condition gone solo. She is a former dance artist with TU Dance and a founding member of The August Wilson Center Dance Ensemble (Top 25 to Watch, Dance Magazine, 2012). She has choreographed and performed with the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, The Guthrie Theater with The Moving Company and she has also choreographed for The Children’s Theater in Minneapolis, MN. While with The August Wilson Center Dance Ensemble she traveled with The US Embassy to teach and perform in Suriname in South America. Vie was trained at Point Park University's Conservatory of Performing Arts and The Ailey School. Over the course of her career she performed the works of Kyle Abraham, Camille A. Brown, Dwight Rhoden, Uri Sands, Darrell Grand Moultrie and Sidra Bell. She is also a soul, funk, jazz vocalist and has opened for international acts Little Dragon, Bilal and J*Davey. She is also a Vinyasa yoga instructor with her own philosophy that has nurtured her versatility, CoreKinetics Yoga as well as Yoga For Dancers which has nurtured her body for her rigorous solo work. She also travels leading workshops and speaking at universities and conferences on women's empowerment.

Chris Cloud is an artist, curator, culture maker, and a fixture in Minneapolis, MN’s creative milieu. He is the co-founder of MPLS.TV, an online Do-It-Together video network; MPLSzine, a submissions-based digital publication; and Pizza Camp, an overnight camp for pizza-loving adults. When Cloud isn't cultivating projects and businesses, he is the voice of the Walker Art Center on their social media channels and a professor in the Arts Entrepreneurship program at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design

Creative Director and Fashion Stylist, Christina Fortier is a creative energy in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Fortier began her fashion career in Paris and her interests quickly became focused on creative direction and fashion styling which allowed Fortier to combine her passion and fashion industry knowledge with an education in design into editorial storytelling. Currently she is a Creative Director at BI Worldwide- a global engagement agency that uses the principles of behavioral economics to produce measurable results for their clients around the world.

Nichelle Brunner is a writer, social media guru, and lover of all things pink. As a Black, fat, queer millennial, Nichelle uses images, storytelling, and personal branding to empower hers -- and others -- often ignored identities. Nichelle works at Borealis Philanthropy, an intermediary redefining how and what philanthropy looks. She also has done contract work with jabber logic., Joi Unlimited, and Pollen Midwest. In her free time, Nichelle can be found exploring a new city, indulging in and photographing all things pinks, and sharing random rants about her day on her Instagram story.

Martin Grider is a senior software engineer, specializing in Virtual Reality and mobile development. In his 17+ year career, Martin has built dozens of projects from start to finish, working with teams and budgets large and small. He is the owner and lead developer at Abstract Puzzle, a video game studio he's been running since 2012. Martin has been involved in developing several mobile applications for arts projects, including Chaos on the Green Line, in collaboration with Motion Poems, Northern Spark, and Pixel Farm. He is an organizer for the International Game Development Association (IGDA) Twin Cities chapter, and writes passionately about mobile game development, game design, and Virtual Reality on his blog at chesstris.com

Brianna McCullough is an authoritative technologist and founder of the lifestyle empowerment brand, Bri Limitless. In her daily mission to diversify the tech industry, the innovation leader and Detroit, Michigan native, resiliently shares her voice and vision for inclusivity across STEM fields, simultaneously serving youth and fellow millennials with mentorship and enthusiastic encouragement to live life without limits. Brianna’s dedicated discipline and knowledge has led her to captivate audiences at Google Developers Fest and Ernst and Young. Her engineering milestones earned her the Minnesota Pioneer Women in Tech award in 2017.

Maddie is currently a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Minnesota. As the music director of Radio K, she works with musicians from around the Twin Cities and world. Maddie is excited by the intersection between her technical background and creative interests. She recently spoke at SXSW conference in 2018 about integrating radio into the digital age.

Andy is a craft fair manager turned UX designer who enjoys bridging the gap between live events and the digital experience. He’s the cofounder of Craftstravaganza, Craft’za, and the Mpls Indie Xpo (MIX) comic book convention, and has managed many other events including the Minnesota Monthly Food & Wine Experience and the Midwest Home Luxury Home Tour. Andy is excited by the potential for live events to provide a uniquely powerful experience of emotional engagement and personal connection.
