The Creative Client: Springboard for the Arts
The NeED: Geographic Toolkit analysis
Within Springboard for the Arts support programming, the creative organization provides “Toolkits for Change” to its creative communities. These toolkits serve extension of its community knowledge-base—supporting artists, organizations, businesses and city governments.
Springboard partnered with Monicat Data to measure toolkit usage and community impact opportunity based digital interaction data points: i.e. volume of digital toolkit downloads, user zip-code, creative business type, date of download and toolkit type.
What we implemented: interactive map
Utilizing Tableau and Carto technology, Monicat Data implemented an interactive map, allowing Springboard to visualize the community impact of their digital toolkit programming.
What Was Gained:
A visual tool for internal discussions and decision making, providing Springboard for the Arts with actionable understandings of neighborhood programming needs, based on download location and toolkit density.
